Abram Builds an Altar

Genesis 13:8-18

In today's lesson we are discussing Abram building an alter to God after being reminded of God's promise to give him the land of Canaan and multiply his seed.  Abram is on the heels of a challenging experience in Egypt where he had fled to avoid famine in Canaan.  Now back in the land between Bethel and Hai, the herdsman of Abram and Lot are arguing over the limited space they are dwelling. Our lesson covers Abram's solution and God's conversation with Abram subsequently.
